A refreshing, healthy iced latte inspired by banana bread—blending real banana, coffee, cinnamon, and creamy milk over ice. Naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and easy to adapt for vegan, keto, or high-protein diets.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving

Ingredients

Scale

1 medium ripe banana

3/4 cup almond, oat, or coconut milk

1/2 cup strong brewed coffee or 2 shots espresso

1 teaspoon pure maple syrup or honey

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup ice cubes

Optional: 1 scoop vanilla or unflavored protein powder

Optional: Chopped walnuts for topping

Instructions

1. Blend banana, milk, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla until smooth.

2. Add ice and blend again until creamy and chilled.

3. Pour the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice.

4. Slowly add hot or cold coffee/espresso and gently swirl.

5. Top with cinnamon or walnuts if desired. Enjoy cold!

Notes

To make vegan: use maple syrup and plant-based milk.

For keto: substitute banana extract and monk fruit sweetener, use low-carb milk.

For protein boost: add a scoop of protein powder before blending.

Best served fresh for maximum creaminess and flavor.
