Ingredients
1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tbsp chopped chives
½ tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Mix all ingredients into softened butter.
2. To serve melted: melt in a saucepan, stir until blended, serve warm.
3. To make compound: roll into a log in parchment paper, chill 1 hour, slice and use.
Notes
Store up to 2 weeks in the fridge or 3 months in freezer. Freeze in cubes for easy use.
