My name is Adam Moretti. I’m 38 years old, based in Santa Barbara, California, and if you had met me as a kid, you’d probably have found me standing on a kitchen stool, sleeves rolled up, hands covered in spices, helping my mother cook fragrant, slow-simmered meals. She came from the Italy, and in our home, every dish told a story—always full of flavor, warmth, and a generous drizzle of olive oil.

That question never left me. I went on to study nutrition in college, trained at culinary schools, and worked in fine dining, where plates looked like art.
