About me

My name is Adam Moretti. I’m 38 years old, based in Santa Barbara, California, and if you had met me as a kid, you’d probably have found me standing on a kitchen stool, sleeves rolled up, hands covered in spices, helping my mother cook fragrant, slow-simmered meals. She came from the Italy, and in our home, every dish told a story—always full of flavor, warmth, and a generous drizzle of olive oil.

My father, on the other hand, loved food but lived with diabetes and high blood pressure. He often watched us eat with longing, unable to fully join in.
